  • Peppol EDI Catalog and Order Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management; and
  • other applications, integrations, extensions and services delivered by Innova Dynamics.

2. Roles

A controller is the legal entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. A processor processes personal data on behalf of a controller.

Innova Dynamics is normally the controller of personal data processed to manage product access, customer dialogue, support requests, licensing and compliance with our subscription or service terms.

Innova Dynamics is also controller of personal data processed for our own marketing and communication activities, including activity through LinkedIn.

Where one of our products processes personal data on behalf of a customer, the customer is normally the controller and Innova Dynamics acts as processor. In those situations, we process personal data only on the customer’s documented instructions and in accordance with the applicable data processing agreement.

Microsoft, Gurusoft, LinkedIn and other third-party platforms may be controllers of personal data they process for their own purposes.

3. What personal data do we collect and why?

3.1 When you visit our website

When you visit our website, we may collect the following information from your device:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of access;
  • name and URL of accessed pages or files;
  • browser type and version;
  • operating system;
  • access provider;
  • geographical origin; and
  • other technical information sent by your browser.

We process this information to ensure stable and secure operation of the website, improve usability, evaluate security and stability, investigate technical issues and carry out necessary administration.

3.2 Installation and activation of our products

When a customer installs, activates or subscribes to one of our products, we may process:

  • names;
  • email addresses;
  • customer location;
  • company name;
  • name of purchaser;
  • Microsoft tenant, environment or customer identifier;
  • subscription, licence or entitlement information; and
  • other information necessary to administer the product.

The processing is necessary for performance of the agreement with the customer organisation or to take steps before entering into such an agreement.

3.3 When you use a product

We only process personal data that is necessary to provide the product, authorise users, manage access, provide support and verify compliance with the applicable subscription or licence terms.

We may verify that the number of product users does not exceed the number of users included in the customer’s subscription.

3.4 Error data reporting

We may receive crash data, error reports, log data or diagnostic information from Microsoft or other platform providers.

This information may include personal data and is processed solely for testing and resolving compatibility issues, correcting bugs, investigating incidents and improving the quality and stability of our products and services.

Microsoft or another platform provider may be controller of personal data they process for their own purposes.

3.5 Product analysis

We may receive product analysis or usage information from Microsoft or other relevant platform providers.

We process this information solely to improve our products and services. We do not sell this information.

The processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing stable, relevant and high-quality products and services to our customers.

Microsoft or another platform provider may be controller of personal data they process for their own purposes.

3.6 Support

We provide support through relevant support channels, email, documentation and other communication channels.

To provide support, we may collect:

  • your name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • IP address;
  • country of residence;
  • company name;
  • relevant product, licence or tenant information;
  • technical logs or configuration data where relevant; and
  • other personal data you choose to share with us.

We process this information to answer questions, investigate issues, respond to requests or complaints and provide technical support.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal data through ordinary email or support channels unless this is specifically necessary and agreed with us.

We use LinkedIn to present Innova Dynamics, our products and our services.

LinkedIn may provide us with information such as posts, reactions, follows, comments, messages and aggregated statistics about activity on our pages.

LinkedIn processes personal data according to its own privacy policy and may process personal data outside the EEA.

4.3 Microsoft, Gurusoft and other platforms

Our products may operate within or integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft AppSource, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, Gurusoft or other third-party platforms.

These providers may process personal data for their own purposes in connection with their platforms, cloud services, security, diagnostics, billing or product administration.

Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies, contractual terms and data processing documentation.

4.4 Business transactions

Relevant personal data may be disclosed to lawyers, advisers, auditors, investors, prospective buyers, financing partners or other relevant third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, share sale, restructuring, financing transaction or similar business event.

Appropriate confidentiality and security measures will apply.

5. Security measures

Protection of personal data is a high priority for Innova Dynamics.

We use appropriate physical, technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, misuse, destruction or disclosure.

Our measures may include access controls, authentication, secure development practices, logging, monitoring, supplier assessments, backup routines, internal guidance and staff awareness.

We continuously work to maintain security measures appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks involved.

6. Your rights as a data subject

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to a copy of your personal data;
  • request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • request data portability where applicable; and
  • lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.

Where Innova Dynamics acts as a processor on behalf of a customer, requests concerning personal data in that customer’s solution should normally be directed to the customer as controller.

7. For how long do we store personal data?

We retain and use personal data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Upon effective termination of a product subscription, app or customer account, we will delete personal data related to that account within three months.

Any personal data included in error reporting, crash reports or technical diagnostics will be deleted after 30 days, unless Microsoft or another relevant platform provider requests us to return or destroy the data earlier.

Personal data connected to accounting, invoicing or statutory documentation may be retained for longer where required by applicable bookkeeping, tax or other legal obligations.

Where Innova Dynamics acts as processor, retention and deletion are governed by the customer’s instructions and the applicable data processing agreement.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy based on changes in our business practices, technology, products, services or legal requirements.

Any changes will be published on this page.

If we make a significant change in how we use or share personal data, we will provide notice by email and/or another prominent notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect, where appropriate.
